Heyyyyyyyylo there, Cupcakes! =3 Been awhile since I've updated this journal! So there's a few things I thought I'd cover in case you somehow missed them ;3 I'll categorize them in case you want to skip through to the things you haven't already checked out.


ACEN!
ACen was about a month ago now! Can you believe it? Neither can I. x3 It seems like yesterday somewhat! Hehe it was sooo much fun and we even met like five Cupcakes there! ANNNND made some new ones. So -wavewave- HI NEW CUPCAKES! ^-^ Anyways, a few awesome things, cosplayer world related, happened while we were there.

First -- I met Vic Mignogna. Yes. =3 He's a man I've always wanted to meet. I honestly don't get why he's so hated! I definitely side with the love side of the fandom fersure. He's soooo caring and nice! I was very lucky. The line was taking a long time and ended up running into the second awesome thing that happened that weekend, but I stook it out til the end. The convention center folks tried to shut down the signing line early, which broke Vic's heart. He ended up taking time before he had to go to the airport to make another signing event to make up for those that didn't get signed. To make sure they got to the front of the line, as well, he made up a secret password for them to tell the staff. ANYWAYS! My row was the last to get signed. -whew- x3 So beforehand, I planned a little rant to tell Vic like what I did with J. Michael Tatum before at Detour '11. Then this happened: [link]

Second -- I met Travis Willingham. This was something that I HAD to do as a cosplayer. Even before I actually had Hani made, I knew that I wanted to meet him as Hani and get a piggyback ride. It was my cosplay dream! x3 But the man neeeeever comes to Minnesota. D; So when I found out that he was going here, I FREAKED! And I told myself over and over that I'd make this happen. I was three people away from missing getting his signature a few hours before I got Vic's, but I knew he had a panel. So then this happened: [link] ^------^ I ran from Vic's event to this panel and made it in like four questions away from the end. Mine was the third "question". Best moment of my life. I went to his Sunday signing as just myself but he remembered me and kept telling me how cute I was. <33 And I got a high-five from him for completing my dream, bwaha!

Third -- I met Joey Blondewolf. Everything literally happened one right after the other. x3 Twitter has this thing where it sends you updates over text, and Joey said she'd be posting wherever she was over Twitter. So ten-fifteen minutes-ish from Vic's meeting was Travis. Then about ten minutes after Travis' was when I met Joey! She was a floor above me, literally [like the same spot] when I saw the text. So I went up and sure enough, I found her! So I had her greet you Cupcakes: [link] =3 She was very down to earth and also enjoyed my cosplay, which made me verrrry happy.

So this wrapped up with awesome events, awesome people, and just... MEH! AWESOMENESS, made this an amaaaazing con. The best. I'm prepared to make this my go-to con, honestly. x3 I'll keep Detour on the list cause it's home, but as for any others, I may need to make some adjustments.


FUTURE CONS!
So what's to come? AniMinneapolis is the first on the list. This is from June 29th to July 1st. Annnd guess who's gonna be there? Quinton Flynn again [yay! x3 I wonder if he remembers us?] annnnnnd... VIC! YES! =3 I neeeed another amazing hug from that man. I hope he remembers me, too! <33 We're hoping to hold an Ouran mini panel while we're there, so we hope you can attend! It'll be a Dares only panel, seeing that we could've ran one on dares alone this last year. Shall be plenty of fun~!
Some of us will be in other panels, as well! It sounds like they will be Vocaloid, South Park, and Homestuck.

After that, at the end of July, is Anime Iowa! Meika, Alaina, and myself will fersure be there. J Michael Tatum will also be there. ^----^ Another "I hope he remembers me" moment! Hehe. Must. Meet. Him. As. Hani. Again. <33 No panels or events there, but it shall be full of awesomeness if it's anything like last year!


NEW ADDITION!
We have another official member! If you've seen our panel video for this last Detour panel, you'll remember Ranka... She's our new member. =3 Her name is Aftie. Give her lotsa love~! She'll also be our Rainbow Dash when we cosplay as My Little Pony.

You Cupcakes have been uberly helpful over these years. Geez, didja know that we made it to 613 Cupcakes now on Youtube?! WOWZERS! Hehe. Whenever we needed help in contests or to spread the word or whatever, you guys have been nothing but amazing and hopped right on board! <333 Now this isn't anyone in NYAH itself, but it's someone near and dear... especially to my heart. =3
